National Séance(s) 2018

Greetings, Ghostwatchers!

National Séance is an annual thing, that is also free to take part in (note- great opening line - almost rhymes - remember to keep in).

Yes, this year marks our eighth live event, which is always a lot of fun.* Just crank-up your old, coal-fired DVD and/or VHS players, load your personal, perfectly-preserved copies of the original film, and hit 'play' at precisely 21:25 on October 31st.

Then, join us for some adroit, likely-heated discussion concerning Kevin Tripp's veritably-mythic cheese'n pickle sandwich; its complex role in the inter-textual meta-narrative; implicit underlying butter-based social commentary; and lofty, neo-progressive, baguettean status, as per.

In the meantime, as and when any precious news-bites should come through relating to our favourite Hallowe'en Hoax, they shall of course, find pride of place on the blog.

Like this one.

On Sunday 28th October, the two-and-only Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton shall be embarking upon a special live edition of Inside No.9, just in time for Hallowe'en, on BBC Two. Let's take a moment to process the following four words:

BBC. Live. Hallowe'en. Special.

Yes, it's finally happened (again). With this in mind, I think some pre-Séance tweeting is in order, don't you? So, if you can make it, be sure to join us for a Live Tweetalong on Sunday 28th, BBC Two, 22:00. You know, just in case. I think, we all remember what happened, last time, don't we?

Until then, Ghostwatchers, look forward to seeing you there... and try not to have sleepless nights.
