And it's the book that you wrote, your account... of your investigation into this case.

Greetings, Ghostwatchers! A lot can happen in ten years. And twice-and-a-half as much in twenty-five. Even bearing that in mind, it's still fairly hard to believe, this year marks two landmark anniversaries. The 25th for Ghostwatch , and the 10th for Behind the Curtains. To celebrate this pair of legendary milestones, and all that the project has achieved so far, it is with great pleasure to announce the arrival of a brand-new publication released in honour of the occasion, the Ghostwatch: Behind the Curtains - 10th Anniversary Special . Clocking in at a hearty 68 pages, this perfect-bound A4 paperback is now available from Lulu, print-on-demand, in two options - standard Full Colour (£19.92 + p+p), or a reduced-price, Black-and-White edition (£9.99 + p+p).

#Ghostwatch25

Greetings, Ghostwatchers! As we all well know, a Twenty-fifth Anniversary only comes around four times in a century. It can be truly remarkable to consider just how much has transpired in what simultaneously feels like both an incomparably short and lengthy period of time. And boy, did this year's annual celebration of Ghostwatch take some unexpected twists and turns.

National Séance 2017 - One Week To Go!

Image
Greetings, Ghostwatchers! And just like that, the seventh National S éance is already almost upon us, and somewhat ironically, this year, for the very first time, our special annual event shall be taking place in a special venue amongst a specially-gathered live audience! Hallowe'en Night, October 31st 2017 falls on a Tuesday, which is also being marked by the Genesis Cinema screening organised by Pilot Light Festival. That screening is expected to begin at exactly 21:25, so all things being equal, including a strong, stable, non-possessed wi-fi signal, @Ghostwatch shall be present to take part in the otherwise virtual proceedings.

No, this is not a mask..!

It's that time of year, again. No, not just my annual trip up to Scotland, but also me talking about Red Dwarf on this dedicated Ghostwatch site, again. You might recall, around this time last year, we reported on a special preview screening of the oft-inaccurately described, cult sci-fi spoof's eleventh series. This time, it was for XII . The fine venue, as before, was Edinburgh Filmhouse, situated amidst the perpetually-hectic, occasionally career making/breaking, Fringe Festival.

As we all know, this year marks #Ghostwatch25 - the Twenty-fifth Anniversary of yours, mine, and everyone's favourite Hallowe'en Hoax, and to get this scanner truck on the road, we're delighted to finally be able to announce a pair of upcoming, very special screenings of the film set to take place on the 30th and 31st October 2017 organised by Pilot Light Festival. Not only that, but both events are set to feature Q&A sessions featuring members from the cast and crew, including, Gillian Bevan (Genesis, London), Lesley Manning, Stephen Volk , and Behind the Curtains writer-director, Rich Lawden.

Birmingham Horror Con 2017 - Halloween Special

Image
Greetings, Ghostwatchers! Established in 1882, Edgbaston's eminent Cricket Ground, also known as Edgbaston Stadium , shall this year be hosting the Birmingham Horror Con Halloween Special, between 28-29 October, and rather excitingly, Behind the Curtains shall be making an appearance at some point, over the weekend!

Extrasensory Perception

It is the morning of Friday 5th August 2016, and a fairly pleasant 23°C (outside of the car). I'm currently on my way to a small Independent film studios, Halliford, just a few minutes away from m'old haunt, Shepperton Studios, to catch up with some friends, and take a long-awaited trip into the great beyond. Parking just by the main doors, by now, I know that inside one of the longstanding building's two cosy sound-stages is a dedicated production crew, currently shooting proof of concept footage for a new film project known as, Extrasensory , written by Stephen Volk. By now, you might have guessed why I was invited along.
